Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Morning/Afternoon Drop-off & Pick-up Procedures:

Safety first, last, always…

All students driven to or from our school MUST use our supervised Pick-Up/Drop-Off area at the Eucalyptus Avenue entrance to our school. See map below

Please do not use our staff parking lot on the corner of Civic Center and Vista Village, this is not a supervised or safe area for students. Please also respect our neighboring businesses near our school. Student drop-off anywhere other than our supervised Eucalyptus Avenue entrance is very dangerous and has become a serious concern. Students walking to and from school may enter and exit through the gates near the main office on Civic Center Drive.

Drop off/Pick Up Hours:

Parents may begin dropping off students at 8:00 am Tuesday-Friday, and at 9:00 am on Mondays. Parents must pick up students by 3:30 pm every day. Any students that have not been picked up by 3:30 pm will proceed to the main office.  Gates will be opened and closed at times indicated above.

Prior to 8:00 am and after 3:30 pm, the only access to and exit from VMMS campus will be through the main office.

VISITOR and STAFF PARKING (adjacent to the pool) is NOT to be used for drop off and pick up during the hours which the Eucalyptus gates are open.
Anybody who parks illegally or jaywalks on Citrus/Eucalyptus or any public street will be subject to a citation by law enforcement. Also please do not park in nearby business parking lots as you may be towed. Please continue to respect traffic laws and city street regulations.

Learning Labs and Clubs

Students participating in before or after school Learning Labs and clubs UMUSTU enter and exit through the main office. No other students are permitted on campus before or after school hours.

Boys and Girls Club:

During Boys and Girls Club hours students attending will enter and exit through the gate closest to the pool/gym entrance. There will be no direct access from the pool gate onto the rest of the campus.

Many thanks for your cooperation.
